How to relieve this horrible back pain???!
Question: Question Details: my friend's only 23 but he has a problem with his back at the lumbar region.
it started since about 7 years when his backs start to hurt frequently.probably every month.
he went to 10th of doctors but they gave him medications that didn't help at all.even strongest pain killers can't help decrease the pain.
so please tell me anyway to help him.it's really painful that he can't sleep :S

It could be a couple of disks that could be slightly out of place due to jarring or just sleeping the wrong way. I have a terrible back, due to heavy lifting. First I went to a chiropractor to see exactly what was wrong (x-rays) they don't lie! Then I let the chiropractor adjust me, until I felt better, now I just go once a month for maintainence. Also., my chiropractor suggested taking supplements of glucosamine chondrotin, which helps keep the lubrication in the joints and all places where bones meet.
I have Chronic pain from tmj. Marijuana is the only thing that helps pressure related pains for me. Im not sure if its as effective with his condition but its worth a shot.
