*sniffle* 8 week COLD!!?!
Question: i swear- i have had this cold for about 8-9 weeks, I remember trying to run about a block on No. 2nd because i was late for m school dance and i almost keeled over b/c i didn't have enough breath and was coughing uncontrolabley, about a week before is when this started~ i espeially had trouble with m asthma and mucus. This cold has come and gone, but its bacck! Though thankfully this time it is not affecting my lungs and im not coughing, but im very very congested and my nose is very runny and stuffy. Is there anyway i can get rid of this!!! It's exhausting!! I'm just wondering what type of medication would work the best, or what i can do.

u might want to see a doctor it sounds like you have a rebound effect. Usually it comes back as brochitus(spelling) bc someone in my family had the same problem. Just make sure to get plenty of sleep and take off work/school if you don't feel well. Don't try to tough it out, it will only make it worse.
Reminds me of the time I had Sinusitis. Apparently, when you ahve a cold, your sinuses can become infected. WHen the cold leaves, you are left with Sinusitis (which is why it fels like you've had a cold for 8 weeks). Sinusitus was easily the most painful thing I've ever had, as your sinuses will swell to the point that they push your teeth out of the way. Ouch!! Super painful!!
I used a Sinus medication ... Sudafed probably. I'm not a doctor, however, so if you can please try to see a doctor.
