I really need help with stress, can you help?!


Question: I get headaches, anxiety, high blood pressure etc... because I am stressed. Not really bad stress, just too much going on. I work full time, go to school full time, and my wife and I just had a baby 3 weeks ago. I am tired of getting sick and staying sick because of the level of stress that I have. Can anyone suggest anything to help me have less stress?

about your anxiety, try not to think of those bad things that comes in your mind.. always remember that God is always beside you..

The best thing that you should do to overcome your anxiety is to read the bible.. and prayer. believe me it will help you a lot..
Also when your anxiety attack you must calm your self.. inhale deep then exhale slowly, then repeat.
making a good cry may also help you.
exercise, do some activities that you like most.
communicate to your love ones, tell them about your problems. sleep early.

take a break!!
take a week off work a week of school and rest
thats all you need!!!

yes, sometimes when things just get to much, you need to take medication to help you deal. You won't become dependent, but it will help with your mood and taken things off your mind.. Congrats on the baby.

Having a new baby is so stressful. Mostly because you do not get enough uninterupted sleep. A lot of your stress will go away if you can get 7-8 hours of sleep. Try to work out some sort of schedule with your wife (and she needs it too) so that you can get at least a few nights in a row.

Try St. John's Wort. Also, try and fit in some exercise. LOL, if you can with your schedule. Maybe you can take the baby for a walk to give your wife a break and at the same time you'll be relieving stress for you, her and you'd be bonding with the baby.

I know what you are going through! You have to find a way to lower your stress level or you will be on your way to panic attack.I have horrible panic attacks and so much anxiety. You need to find a way to escape all of your troubles at least once a day like maybe exercises or listening to music by your self .Try chamomile tea it actually helps calm your nerves and yes it really works. If it gets to bad then you may need to talk to your doc about anxiety medication.You have to take time for yourself or you will loose your mind! Hope it gets better.

You're a new papa, so these first 3 months of the baby getting up is hard. And it's hard on mom too. If you have HBP, you may need meds to help it. Also, call the grandma's to take the baby for a day, to give you and wife a break. It's kinda normal what you're going through, but do get the BP checked.

You need a guys perpesctive. take a week off grab some extra cash. buy a paintball gun, bullets ,air etc. Shoot at crap like pictures of your boss or school, or. or take a vacation with your wife.

my dear i can really understand your problem.Beacuse i had been through this.
there are two main ways to get rid of this
1)physical<exercise,some hobby you enjoy etc>
2)spirtual<meditation,youga,game with your mind>
the spiritual way is long lasting or throug your whole life but it is very difficult so i would suggest you the easy way i.e
you can join a jim,learn dance,take a walk in early morning,as these things produce happy harmones in your body which keep you happy and away from stress or you can get involve in your religion no matter what ever you do try to get out of routine at weekends go to places of low crowd. My fried let me tell you when i suffered with this stress, i am sure that it was very diffult as the level of stress was verey high that normally people suffer it almost killed me i believe it is a part of one life but believe me my stress was of verey high level i choose the spirtual way....i heard good songs(classical=pakistan singer Rahat ali khan)i cried,i laughed,i could not sleep at night, every day i was broken like the mirror then i collected myself but again i was broken and the best part is i had no mother to say to no father no wife to say then i started saying to my God. i will remember you in my prayers. Believe me if you have to say anything to anyone and can,t say it say to your God

But my dear stress is also a blessing, anyway if you want to try the spirtual way read Quran it is amaing book(i sweare)
