because they are FAT HEADS! and probably are not happy with themselves.
They're probably just looking for ways to boost their confidence.
I don't think they're afraid of your fat, I just think they see an easy target and make themselves feel better about themselves by picking on you. Make better food choices and exercise more.

People make fun of people who are different from themselves. Many times, they tease someone to make themselves feel better about themselves.

Fat people are just.. odd looking
Fat kills. People who are overweight have higher risks of heart disease, diabetes, certain cancers, and stroke. No one should make fun of you, but being fat is not a good thing to be.
