40 percent of the blood in our bodies circulates through our head (mostly for the brain). When shot, the pressure from the carotid artery will cause the blood to burst out through the ear canal. (once the tympanic membrane, etc have been destroyed.)

Yes that really happens, the blood comes from where the brain is.

uhh wow i take it your a CSI fan ?
umm im not to sure what your talking about it my be like extreme nerve damage that causes like an overload or something

Yes this really does happen. What you dont see is the damage caused inside the brain. It is not just in one small spot, esp. with a gunshot wound. The entrance wound may look small, but it rips a wide path inside. With blunt trauma, it can cause injury to a large part of the brain.

Yes, blood can also come out of the nose and mouth. Although, it can be dark red blood, tv does exaggerate. It can be a clear fluid or even a bloody fluid mixture. It is from the fluid that surrounds the brain and blood vessels rupturing.

As a veteran of the Viet Nam War, I can assure it can and does happen. You really don't want to know about the "real world" nor what causes this phenomenon.

i think so, but my goodness, take it easy on the TV k?
