The same thing happened to me before I took melatonin, which is a natural medicine with very little side effects. You probably have some sort of sleep disorder, and this will probably help you. Go to any health store and it's there. You don't even need a prescription

I had they same problem. Then I went to my doctor and she prescribed me Ambien. It knocked me out cold in about ten mins

I used to have the same problem..
but it was just a time of anxiety.
are you nervous about sth? maybe you should try to relax and cut down cofees and tea the hours before sleeping. also, sometimes we can't sleep when there is a problem with the temperature. try to keep yoursel warm when sleeping.
if you keep on having the same problem, maybe you should visit a doctor
