Question: Ive been wearing contacts since i was 12, (19 now). always hated glasses, no problems ever.

Advantages:
-Look better
-Don't have to clean many times a day
-No bad vision for peripheral
-Cant get knocked off when you get punched by bully
Disadvantages:
-Can make your eyes drier
-Opposite sex find you more attractive (Cooties!!!)
-May cost more when you include cost of contacts and cleaning solution
As long as you start on a gradual basis (your eye doctor should tell you this)
pros:
no bent up glasses (bent glasses are unhealthy because they cause prescription change)
better looking
periphrial vison
cons:
expense
occasional itching or burning
putting in and taking out
risk of complications with extended wear
sanitation is VERY important because as the eyes are vulnerable they are easily infected...wash your hands and you should be fine...i got mine when i was 13
