When in the Marines I was almost shot 4 times, including one time when a shotgun slug landed a few inches in front of my foot and sprayed me with rocks. I have narrowly avoid a couple highspeed collisions on the freeway. 1 motorcycle accident. I almost drove off a cliff near Pittsburg, a sharp offramp caught me by surprise. I am sure there were a few more but I don't remember.

Alcohol poisoning. My heart stopped, and I was revived. So I guess that's almost dieing.
P.S. I don't drink anymore. =]
Only everyday when I get on the road and drive with these crazy drivers down here in South Florida! They will run you off the road!
yeah!.. i was in south Africa swimming in the ocean and i got sucked into a whirlpool and i as trying to swim away from it... but it was too strong... then someone who lived with us (she was 13) she saved me... if she didn't i would have gone underwater to underwater caves n blah blah blah and died! xD
and another time i was being chased my a Rottweiler!! it was really scary... but looking back its really funny... and i don't think it would have killed me... maybe just gnawed at my face a little... but i ran so fast x'D

yup i almost died too from choking i was choking on a piece of meat that i was eating and it was very scary and painful; but thank god my cousin came in and saved me

I got into a nasty bike crash in 1983. The priest was called in for my last rights. If this means I almost died, then yes, I guess so. Back on another scoot within two weeks of being released from the hospital. Thank GOD.
When I was 17 I had an emergency appendectomy. There was a big infection inside along with an abscess. The dr told my parents I almost didn't make it. Plus, they had a difficult time getting me to wake up and breathe properly in recovery so my lung collapsed.
