Is this safe? sea salt?!

Question: if i went into the ocean and got a bucket of salt-water, then let all the water evaporate, would the remaining salt be safe to consume

Techincally yes... But it would be NASTY!!!! I wouldnt recomend it. I live in maine, and by the ocean. We have salt on EVERYTHING!!! Its gross.. Not like the table salt you are thinking of
