Is it possible to make your voice deeper?!

Question: I'm 28, and I have a really high pitched voice, and can't get much volume either.
I think part of the problem is that as a teenager I had a major growth spurt, but some things seemed to get left behind, e.g. I have very small hands and feet and this squeaky voice, even though I'm very tall.

Is there any way that I can make my voice deeper?

Before you speak, take a good breath and concentrate on pushing air from the bottom of the lungs. Use the diaphragm to project rather than squeezing the words from the throat. Relax the shoulders and your larynx should release a bit and hopefully your voice will come down a bit.

If you have more air pushing through the larynx then you should feell the tone of your voice drop and you should be able to get better roundness and volume to your speech.

hope this helps

Yes you can make your voice go deeper!... simply go deep sea diving and say something when your on the bottom

um...as far as i know there isnt a way to make your voice deeper i think our voices just get mor high pitched its a common fact girls voices go up and boys voices go down..

You can try voice lessons. Singers have to practice scales at different octaves and do it from the diaphragm. You'd have to work on it all the time and that is nearly impossible.

smoking and drinking helps.
not recomended tho

YES, there is, practice growling till you sound just like a ferocious dog (not a chihuahua), then practice at speaking with the depth of that growl as you speak.

You can practice when you're alone. You don't want to look mad doing it infront of others, at least only if they know you well and you can trust them not to sidestep you.

Your voice will get deeper eventually without a hint of a growl. It may take 1-3 years to perfect and achieve. It works and its free. Don't strain do it gently and gradually trying to get lower and lower tones of growling until you sound like the hound from hell without a sore throat.

You may not achieve baritone just nicely deeper to a pitch you feel comfortable with and easy to maintain. Oh yeah, use the psychology too, as you practice getting deeper, imagine you've tapped into your more powerful alter ego. Boosts (in volume) the voice, and be careful it may increase attraction!

Don't be too alarmed if something in your throat goes pop, maybe you've trained your voice to break more than it did, so long as there's no severe pain, you should be alright with a checkup. If you do get a strain of the tongue or throat rest for a few weeks before being gentler next time.

Lastly I am a woman giving you this advice but I pracice pitch to my voice at both ends. I can sound like a man or a high-pitched child due to practice. Its also possible to practice screams so that you can scream like a child in the playground, when you're much older.

Try not to worry about. As you grow older your voice will deepen anyway. I know you are 28 but it is not probably as terrible as you think.
