Red flakes in stool?!

Question: I've been having a lot of diarrhea lately. I've done numerous medical exams and not one has shown anything wrong. But this can't be normal can it? Now I notice some red flakes or pieces in my diarrhea. Sometimes black flakey things as well(it kind of looks like spinach). What's wrong with me? I had my tonsils out a few weeks ago, I wasn't eating much during my recovery and my stool was completely normal, but after I recovered the diarrhea returned. I would really appreciate some advice, only serious answers please, this is a sensitive problem.

eliminate all milk products and follow up with your GI doctor. keep a food diary.

What have you Been eating i have to ask first ?

Could be something you have eaten. Many things come out in red pieces. If you feel something is really wrong, (I know it sounds gross), take it to the Dr. or ER and have the poop tested right then, use a plastic bowel or something. I know that sounds awful, but they do that in the hospital to check it. Things always seem better then, but when you get home they come back, so this would be the better choice.===
