What does the GALBLATTER DO?!

Question: What purpose does this serve? My doctor said that my Galblatter might be the reason why Im not feeling good, and I thought it might be an ulcer. I also heard you can have it removed... If it can be removed, why do we have it in the first place?

the "gall bladder" is a sort of holding tank for bile, which is released into our bowels to aid in digesting our food. Bile comes from the liver, so, while the gall bladder does serve a purpose, it is not essential to digestion and can therefore be removed, when it becomes inflammed or full of gall stones.
