Why do worms live in the gut ??????!

They are parasites and the body is the host.
they eat the nutrients that the body can not digest - easy meals with no effot involved - thats why we call some people parasites
Because it's full of food and nutrients........OOooo......yummy (rubs wormy tummy)! *lol*
Its warm and there's lots of food.
And you might end up in poo; which means you've been carried away from where you first started life and can extend your geographic range so as to end up in more animals guts and therefore have more chance of surviving as a species.
And worms can't smell anything. If they did poo would just smell like dinner does to you.
