What do you think of the health service in this country?!

Question: I am in health care. I think it is not given enough support and money to operate. Corporate leaders and politicians ruin it.
There are mllions of great doctors, nurses, orderlies, cna's,other technicians, etc. that save lives everyday, and work themselves to the bone!!!
Then there's the corporate end that says, theres not enough money to hire enough help....but then yet there is to constantly put in new carpet, repaint every year etc. and provide themselves with constant luxuries.
It is too bad the patients, and staff have to suffer because of the CEO's putting the wrong priority first.

great if you can get to use it ;-)

its ****

Don't start me!!! Great nurses and doctors generally just flaming awful organisation.

Excellent and the people who work in it are the best in the world despite constant meddling by cheap political monkeys

i have never had any complaint about our health service.
My son has recently (20th Dec) undergone a major operation and was given the best care and surgery I could have wished for.

I was given fantastic treatment and sent to the best available hospital when I had cancer 2 years ago.

So I cannot ever complain about my local NHS service.
I am lucky - as I am aware that this isn't the consensus nationwide

Overstretched not what it was originally designed for. basic healthcare should be the priority.

The same as Britain itself,

RUBBISH

Due to idiots running and running down the country

Its not perfect, and not as good as it once was. However an outsider's view can be interesting. I was told recently by an American that our NHS is great. He had 4 fingers cut off in an industrial accident and his health insurance would only cover the cost of having 2 sewn back on!

When I was admitted to hospital the treatment i received was first class, doctors, nurses & ambulance staff were great.

If it was a business it would have gone broke long time ago. So badly run that loads of docs and staff are running away.

I want to quit too!!

There is fewer nurses and doctors lots more money but even more managers more managers than others put together just a big cash cow
