remind her that she needs to drink lots of water to stay hydrated, and advise her to get lots of rest.

99.5 is not even considered a fever!! but if she feels sick and it goes up more, then help her by making her feel comfortable, bring her water or tea or juice, tell her to take tylenol or motrin, keep the house quiet so she can rest.

barely a fever -worry when it's over 102.9. she's probably got a viral illness. have her drink lots of water and treat her symptoms.
