Do bellybuttons need cleaning?!
Question: I never clean mine and just noticed all this lint and old hair in it. I pulled all the gunk out with tweezers and cleaned it with a cotton swab soaked in rubbing alcohol which burned. Am I supposed to be cleaning this thing out regularly, and if so, how?

yeah the stuff in there can smell like butt. clean with soap on a cotton ear swab.

yes you're supposed to clean it out. The alcohol burned because your belly button is irritated or infected. You should clean it out everytime you take a bath with soap and water and rinse it out very well with water. How old are you????
