Could not eating anything for 7 days explain a HIGH resting pulse?!

Question: Of course. Not eating anything for 7 days is unhealthy. Unhealthy things stress the body. Tachycardia (rapid heart rate) is a common response to physiologic stress.

I hope you're asking this question as a hypothetical....

If not, please go eat something. :^)

Good luck and good health.

Yes

Yes, the body is under a crisis mode (starvation); the body is adapting by increasing the pulse in order to increase the delivery of oxygenated blood throughout the body.

Please drink plenty of water and gradually resume eating .

yes it can also explain sudden cardiac arrest and the state of death that follows that.
Has it occured to you that besides the calories your body needs to function you need potassium and calcium and sodium among other things for your heart to work properly? So it has given you the warning signs.... Now what?

Sure. The body is in a crisis mode. Blood sugar is definitly out of whack, as well as other chemical balances.
