Could coffee cause respiratory problems?!

Question: I'm having asthma-like symptoms since I started drinking a particular kind of coffee (Kilimanjaro).

Answers: I'm having asthma-like symptoms since I started drinking a particular kind of coffee (Kilimanjaro).

Never heard of coffee interfering with the respiratory system but anything is possible.!
You may have an allergy to the ingredients that the particular coffee contains.
Switch to your regular brand for a few days , to be certain.
If you believe that the problem may be related to this coffee, I would just stop using it to be absolutely certain !!!
Why take chances ???

it depends!

It can cause problems. The best way to find out is try not to drink any coffee for a while. GOOD LUCK!!!

I never heard of that,I've been drinking it for 30 years.

Coffee itself is not the problem. Many studies have come out of late and have found no problems with coffee. In fact, some scientists call it, tongue in cheek, a miracle drink. It actually can keep people from getting Parkinson's and retards the onslaught of Alzheimer's. It also does not cause cancer. Perhaps your coffee has an additive. Perhaps there is another source causing your problem.

well, coffee (the caffeine in the coffee) causes some hardening of vessel walls. I read in a study somewhere that if you like to smoke and drink coffee at the same time (smoking also causes hardening of blood vessel walls) it compounds the problem. I'm not sure if that can directly contribute to respiratory problems, but if you have harder blood vessels, it's harder for your lungs to process oxygen. Maybe the coffee you're drinking now has more caffeine than before?
