This will make you lose muscle tissue, which will make it harder for your body to burn energy. As a result, the little you do eat will be conserved as fat, even more so than it is now.

Starving yourself is stupid. You need to eat sensible, low GI foods, and excercise. Starving yourself will only make you get FATTER!

Why don't people believe me when I tell them this? In fact, starving yourself for two weeks will possibly make you put on weight, like 1-2 pounds!

Starving yourself trains your body into "Famine Mode". IT becomes super efficient at packing on fat. That is why to lose weight you need to build muscle through excercise (which will make your body burn more fat while you are just sitting there. It's pretty cool. You use more energy just HAVING muscles, not necessarily using them.)

Only reduce your kilojoule intake by about 5-10%. If you normally eat about 1500 calories, drop it by about 2-300 calories, and your body shouldn't freak out too much.

Eat heaps of protein. It is digested slowly, so you don't feel so hungry.

Drink only water.

If you starve yourself, the following will happen. Your muscles will start breaking down. This is because your body goes "Muscle burns more energy than fat! Gotta get rid of the muscle!" It will break down muscle before it touches the fat. It will cannibalise the muscle for energy. You will get physically weaker. Your blood sugar will be all over the place because of infrequent meals, which will make you feel like crap. You will probably bloat from water retention. Your skin will become dull. Your breath will reek. You will probably get acne break outs.

You might lose a little weight in the first few days, but this will be WATER, and MUSCLE, not fat. Your weight will soon increase because your body will pack on more fat. The results won't be permanent.

Finally, you will permanently make your body more resistant to burning fat. It will burn only muscle, not fat. That will make you fatter in the long run.

Hope this helps.

Seriously, if you eat a low kilojoule, sensible diet, and do some sit ups and push ups, (which build muscles) you will probably lose 1-2 kilos (4 pounds) in two weeks. Also, the muscles will tighten up your stomach, making you look even skinnier. You only need to do a few sit ups and push ups. Work up to about 50 sit ups, and 30 push ups. Do a few little sessions of as many as you can every day, and you'll soon see results.

haha this is typical i did it and i nearly died and i was a little bit skinnier but i gained it all back like a balloon my suggestion DONT DO IT i suffered a lot and i damaged my stomach so please don't mess up your homeostasis you need food to survive!

First of all, you will probably be dizzy because your electrolites will be all screwed up. You will lose muscle mass not fat. You will probably bite everyone's head off when they talk to you because you will be irritable. You probably won't be able to concentrate in school. So, it is not a good idea. Be more sensible. Eat less, drink 8 glasses of water, don't eat carbs(bread, sweets, cereal, potatoes, snacks), start walking daily. This will get you results.

no when you stop eating your body goes into starving mode and stops burning fat so you dont lose weight try a diet like weight watchers points diet you can eat all inds of foods just measure them out or slim fast diet and remember the slower you lose the longer it stays off. try these for the W

So, you already know that it's a really really bad idea...BUT we won't focus on that...

If you eat nothing, then your metabolism will adjust to having nothing. Therefore, it will burn, nothing. You will initially lose a few pounds, but your body will get used to having so little that you won't lose much more. Anything you lose will immediately be gained back plus MORE as soon as you eat again. And, if you're doing this for some sort of event you want to be skinnier for...then chances are you'll be so weak, tired, and sick...if you're alive...by the end of that 2 weeks that you won't even want to get out of bed....but hey, you'll be a couple pounds skinnier!!!

What's this world coming to that we are willing to put our lives at risk to lose a pound or two?
