How do you make yourself puke without sticking your hand down your throat?!

Question: I watched Thin today and I saw that this lady could make herself puke without even sticking her hand down her throat. Can anyone tell me how to do this? And before you say "I'm not going to tell you how to do this," think about it this way, it will harm one less thing, at least my hands won't be as raw and scratched up.

Do NOT use ipecac! continuous use in this manner can cause permanent irreversible heart damage.

Your quesion, I don't have an eating disorder or anything but i can do it. just start making the puking motion with your body. notice how the different muscles in your stomach and throat move when you puke and imitate it. also, think about something disgusting,. helped me get out of school a time or two as a kid :D

hmm well i use to be bulimic and I use to be able to do that as well but it was bc for years i made myself throw up my muscles could just reject food. even the smallest bite i could throw up with the muscles in my stomach and throat... i think it's bc i made myself throw up for so long but who knows i've seen people just throw up who don't have eating disorders like throw up on command... If you find the exact reason whyu let me know!!!

Syrup of ipecac it is used for accidental poisoning and causes you to barf

Ipecac syrup (it might be called syrup of ipecac) induces vomiting. Directions should be on the bottle, but I believe you just drink a bit of it. It's often used to cause vomiting in someone who has ingested a toxin.
