Question: the thing is i could have athritis and im only 15..
im terrified of doctors and when i last went for a blood test ((about 1 month ago)) i callapsed.. and that was the reason i needed one, because i got dizzy spells and blacked out.. the doctors told me that nothing was wrong and i still get dizzy spell when i stand up and get partially blind for a few seconds.

soo im really scared of doctors. always have been.. i know they will send me for another blood test. but im soo scared of needles and i dont want to callapse again ((it was the scariest and most embarrasing thing ever))

and when my mum was diagnosed with arthritis, the doctor twisted her anke and it clicked and caused alot of pain..
im scared of pain. its one of my fears.. plus i have a thing about my feet ((ankles)) i hate the thought of someone poking around and twisting them ..

i understand your fear of pain and doctors... but if you dont go and find out what is wrong, and get the proper treatment you are going to be in a lot of pain all the time. literally ALL the time. if your mom has arthritis im sure you know this. as far as passing out when your blood is taken.... you could be anemic, but i think the doctors would have told you that. the only thing i can think of is to have some orange juice or a candy bar before you go to keep you blood sugar up. a drop in blood sugar will easily cause you to faint.

Just go to the doctor an let him help you.
You have anxiety about going to the doctor - I have had that too. But the more you go the easier it will be.
Everyone has to go and you'll be seeing a doctor regularly for the rest of your life, so talk it out with friends and family and just go.
Maybe you can reward yourself afterward with a nice lunch or a new shirt!!

some people never grow out of it

just think of it like this, doctors are the player and you are the instrument they will always know how to play so dont worry

Dont be so scared! Let them, help you its what they do! Besides everyone goes through pain!

P.S Good luck!

A. you might not necessary have arthritis: one reason for your black outs/dizziness is that you might be standing up to fast after prolonged sitting periods (i have that and i believe that is from sudden change/ drop in blood pressure when u rise and your heart has to pump harder)
B. To overcome you fear of needles (i have that and i have fainted once), you have to face it and realize that there is nothing to it (and yeah u dont need to look at the needle to faint, because your brain knows that there is a needle there and the anxiety overcomes)
C. We all have fear of pain, because nobody likes pain - and no i dont think you can overcome fearing pain completely

I think it's your blood sugar, you should see a therapist if you are scared of something and keep fainting if you ever see it. I would also be scared if I had this. So you should see a therapist. A therapist is not a doctor, they talk to you about your problems and prescribe you medicine that will help you problem go away.

A doctor is only there to help. they understand you completely. Just tell him not to hurt you or twist your ankly. you can ask if you are going to be ok. I understand how you feel to. But there is no need to worry. You know, you should be happy. It is not some heart disease. Its not cancer, which is super worse, or irregular heart beats which they have to implant a pacemaker in your heart and do surgery on you every 10 years. Lastly, its not brain surgery! Theres treatment options, so youwill not have to suffer from it severely. Doctors are good you know, you know their job! What if doctors did not exist? I do have to tell you so get ready for it. I am sorry. arthritis is a degenerative joint disease. It is incurable. but there won't be pain if you take medication. Hope you are ready. I do pray that you don't have arthritis. By the way. Arthritis is not very scary unlike stroke or heart attacks. Think of it as this thing that annoys you in your sleep. Needle injections? I do get scared, but they are harmless. Blood test. Scared me, But I didn't cry. It did make me pale and dizzy though, but that is a side effect that will go away! I suggest you eat healthy, stay away from second hand smoking and smoking. No alcohol. Be happy and stay positive, exercise, and all the good things. I do pray that it isn't rheumatoid arthritis.
