Pain Mgmt....?!
Question: I have been having very bad pain in my left hip and havent been able to sleep because i am having hot and cold flashes, the pain is still in my hip and now my whole left side and my whole back what could it be? do i need to go to the hospital? i need to know asap i tried pain killers but they dont work.

without knowing more, can't think what it might be. I would go to the doctor if you can wait until office opens. Depending on age and gender, hot and cold flashes may be due to hormonal causes. Also, achy muscles and hot and cold flashes could be form of the flu. Definately get it checked but they will probably need to test so hospital visit may be lengthy. There may also be an urgent care clinic in your area you can go to , less costly and helps if doc can't see u right away. Good Luck.
Have you have any idea of what are the contributing factors to your left hip pain? At times withour realising, our daily works are the contributing factor.. If pain killers doesnt work, I suggest, do consult the doctor soon so that they can suggest anything better or perhaps undergo some examinations to make sure that there's nothing wrong..
