Tongue help! I recently have had a problem with my tongue. It is red and stings.!


Question: It stings to cold and hot drinks.

Hmm, did you burn it on something hot before this?
Do you have any sores in your mouth?
Could be an STD or Thrush comes to mind.

  • did you drink or eat something realy hot. You might have burned it

    you might have burned your tongue.

    You may be having an allergic reaction to something. A lot of peoples' tongue either swell or sting if they have too much citric acid. You may have had too much orange juice or anything else acidic can do that to your tongue.
    Another solution is if you take Vicadin, it can also affect your tongue.
