I'm glad there is uncurable disease?!

Question: Not to sound mean or hateful, but i'm glad we don't have cures for cancer and stuff. the world would get so over populated if we had a cure for everything. sure there is war and hunger, but diseases and sickness is the only thing from keeping us over populating the world. I feel sad for people who lose loved ones to these, I just recently lost my grandpa to cancer, but its life. don't give the "wait till it happens to you" cause if it ever does, i'll go with the flow and let life take its course. Who else thinks this way?

Well I'm pretty sure the hundreds of people I take care of that are dying of AIDS and cancer would disagree, along with their loved ones. There are a lot of other ways that people die: suicide, accidents, etc. In younger people, accidents and suicide kill more people than cancer or any other chronic disease. In adults, heart disease is actually the number one killer, so even if cancer and other chronic diseases were cured it wouldn't over-populate the planet.

I really feel sorry for you if you feel this way. People dying of incurable diseases is o.k. because it helps with population control -- are you serious?? So it doesn't bother you that infants and children are suffering and dying every day of incurable diseases because it makes the world a little less crowded?

As far as your i'll go with the flow and let life takes it course that is a big assumption on your part. No one (not even you) knows how they will react until they are given a death sentence, with no chance of a cure.
