I need to wear contacts, but it's hard for me.?!

Question: I need to wear contacts for sports, but they dont feel dont feel comfortable. It's either I wear contacts or glasses, I cant avoid both.
So when I tried them on once, I couldn't get them on properly. I kept blinking almost like its an automatic reaction.
ANY tips on how to put them on?

It takes practice to put them in. It will become easier after awhile. So, just keep doing it.

Also, it takes a while to get used to wearing them. I started out wearing them for a couple of hours only and gradually increased the time.

If they never become comfortable, ask for a different brand, because different brands are comfortable for different people.

If you've just started using them they will feel uncomfortable because you've got something in your eye! If you wear lenses often you will be used to them in a few weeks. Also different brands and types are better or worse quality - I changed to 2-weekly wear lenses from daily-use recently and they're much more comfortable for me.
You'll get used to putting lenses in and will find the knack but basically make sure you hold back your eyelids. Clean and dry your hands thoroughly first.
Good Luck!

The best advice I can give you for putting your contacts in is PRACTICE! It sucks at first when you are learning how but after awhile you will grow to love your contacts!
