I haven't smoked in 2 days and???!
Question: I have this TERRIBLE caugh and am so sick...
I have quit before but never felt like this.. am I sick or does this have something to do with not smoking?
It has made it much easier to not smoke though.. I am hacking so much that it makes me not even want to smoke...
Would taking Musinex help me to get rid of all the junk in my chest?

Pray for your victory, Praise GOD and if you can find them try Lofthouse's Fisherman's Friend Lozengers(mental cough suppressant) This will help the cough and get rid of the mucus in your chest. Chew gum, read the Bible(or just read) Pray sing to yourself anything that will take your mind off smoking. Be proud And Be blessed all throughout 2008
Sounds like you have a chest cold, good thing you stopped smoking. A hot steam shower should loosen you up, take some vitamin C, it helps get rid of any nicotine in your system.
try lemon and honey and got nicotene patches to help craving good luck it wont last long
you are probably getting withdrawl symptoms you should get to a doctor and get medicine to make you better and you wont be addicted to smoking cancer sticks ne more P: peace
You could be sick as it is that time of year for sure. But quitting can also make you cough pretty badly. Musinex should get all of that junk out if you are sick.
You will go through some pretty bad withdrawal. Remember, your body is healing itself.

Perfectly normal for your body to do that. It's working through getting rid of all the rubbish built up in your lungs. You may have a cold also but if you wanna see something gross you should spit out the phlegm in the sink and you'll see it is full of black specks- all the tar from down there.
