My son's science book has mold growing in it! What should I do?!

Question: He is in 9th grade and he said the books are very old. He goes to a great school and I am shocked! His book has mold growing on it from water damage. Is it safe to let him use it? What should I do?

Replace it right away,he can get infected not only at his fingers but also his lungs can inhale some spores, its very, very dangerous for his health.

take it back to the store and ask for a new one, if that doesn't do anything go to the education board/district and get some results!

I would contact the school and try to get him another book. Absolutely let them know what the condition is of this one.
Let them make suggestions but make it clear he can't use this book.

Return the book to school, that's unacceptable. If that doesn't work...idk spray vinegar on the mold, that should clear it up.

its not safe at all he can become very sick from ask if theres a way to buy a new one or if they have a spare.
