HELP!! I can barely hear out of one ear..?!
Question: For about a week my right ear has been really really sore and about every other day I couldn't hear out of it and now I just woke up and it feels completely stopped up and I can barely hear my iPod playing versus the other ear which is crystal clear.

you probably had a wax build up which caused an ear infection, for your sake you should go to your doctor as soon as you can, he can probably provide some relief to your ear
You may have some sort of inner ear infection. You should probably think about seeing a Ear & Nose specialist.

It happened to me once, turned out I had a build up of wax. Since then, Q tip after every shower.
I had that same problem and my doctor gave me some antibiotic.s in two days i could hear again.Go to a doctor only he/she can tel if it is an infection or something else.
Put a couple of drops of olive oil in it ( you might want to warm it up first) and lay over on your other side for a while. You may need to do this a couple of times a day for about 2 weeks.
This happened to me and I went to the doc and that is what he told me to do before he would even think of doing anything else.
Don't prod at it with cotton buds or anything - that will just make it worse.
you have a ear infection go to the doctors and get some antibiotics that should help or you might of got swimmers ear which is you have water in you ear that can happen when you take a shower or go swimming it happened to me you can get drops at the store for that
dont use head phones, they are way too loud, can deaf because of it. Check with your ENT. Try steam inhalation with some inhalers like vicks. May be your tube connection the ear & troath is blocked.
