It's ok to have your nightlight on..I mean tv. However, the flashing lights may keep you from getting a good nights sleep. Your problem may be that you are just too afraid at night to fall asleep. Do you live alone? Make sure everything's locked up for the night, and maybe have an alarm installed. Do what you can to help you feel more safe at night. If you still can't fall asleep..try some warmed milk. I know for me, if I eat ice cream before I fall asleep, I have awful nightmares! Some foods could probably keep you awake, like sugar. Why not just try the warm milk? Good luck.

hot cocoa makes me sleepy and warm. me gusta mucho. :-)

well coffee (honestly) could make me sleep and an apple

cold cold water makes me sleep

Don't watch TV to fall asleep - listen to soft music

A snack of turkey will help you fall asleep!

You have to warm the milk up first. Warm milk has something in it that relaxes you

Milk contains a protein alpha-lactalbumin, rich in tryptophan, that tells the brain to sleep, at bedtime try drinking milk It doesn't have to be a glass of white milk. Flavored milk, hot chocolate or a bowl of cereal all work.
turn the TV off ...all the flashing and noise keeps your brain awake and you will have a restless night ...if it has a sleep button use it.... set to timer to turn it off in an hour or two so you will have a restful sleep

I think besides warm milk and turkey, that Sleepytime Tea and Chamomile Tea help you go to sleep. I always sleep with the TV on.

its true that milk can make u sleep since it contains tryptophan, that can induce sleep...but how about try to read a book, it can make me sleep without knowing it...
