Is not eating enough able to really make my stomache hurt, and give me headaches!


Question: i eat around 500-800 calories a day. starting at 4:00 at night and i drink water.. since i started doing this, i have had heart burn alot, stomache aches, my ribs have been hurting, and have had migranes and headaches constantly.


also, i exersize alot. 30 minutes at the least daily. usually burning at the least of 200 or so calories. the average is 3-400 calories lost.

what should i do to stop these problems?

i am 15,
5'2
and 128 calories.
i have lost 10 lbs since tuesday night.

You're body is telling you that you are damaging it. You need to eat several meals through out the day and more calories than 500-800. You currently are not, so the acid in your stomach is eating your stomach lining and your throat. This is what is causing you stomach aches and heart burn. If you keep doing this, the acid will tear your throat and stomach apart causing you to vomit and poop blood. The head aches are because your body isn't getting all the calories/nutrients it needs to function properly. I bet you also are feeling dizzy. If not, it won't be long if you continue.

These are classic symptoms that develop when one does not eat properly which along with your work out routine also implicates Annorexia may be in the early stages. I know you think it's good to just drop the pounds like this, but it's not and every case of annorexia I've ever heard of started EXACTLY like this.

If you feel that you need to loose weight, you need to see a physician. They can measure your body fat and other such things (it's not based on height and weight anymore because muscle weighs more than fat). If they feel you need to loose weight, they can help you develop a safe diet/exercise program.

PLEASE DO NOT CONTINUE ON AS YOU ARE! You're body will go into survival mode and your organs will begin to shut down. First, kidneys and liver and then your heart and lungs.

If your doctor says you are the appropriate weight/body fat percentage and you still feel that you are "fat", then please seek counselling to deal with these body image issues. It's not worth the pain of destroying your body.

You need to eat. Eating less will just make your metabolism slow down more.

Why are eating at 4? am? You should eat lots of nutritious things like a good ceral for breakfast, or wholemeal toast and a glass of fruit juice. Then a few hours later have some fruit, and a yoghurt. Then for luck something like a sandwich with tuna or cheese. and then a good dinner. You are still growing and you need to look after yourself so your body grows properly.
Don't let yourself be obsessed with losing weight, it's very unhealthy for your mind and your body

ya. noteating can do all of that.
try going for a higher calorie intake then going back down. youll also trick ur metabolism
so youll losse faster.

sort of like the 2468 diet.
