Often headaces?!

Question: Every so often, I would say at least every week or every other week I get headaces and they last for about 2-3 days and sometimes its hard for me to sleep, and sometimes when I do fall asleep with a headace, I sleep for about 11-12 hours.

I don't really take asprin or anything to make them go away, only if its really bad.

What do you think could be the cause of this?
please and thank you :D

The only thing I can think of that you can do to cause headaches for your self is to drink caffeine everyday for a few days or a week and then stop drinking it. When you deprive your body of the caffeine it is used to, you can get a killer caffeine withdrawal headache.

If that's not it, I hope somebody else can help you!

You may be suffering from Migraine headaches. They are sometimes hereditary too. See if anybody else in your family has them. Go to web-MD and they will explain the causes for migraines. Do you ever experience nausea, flashing lights, or blurred vision when you have them? These are signs of a migraine, but could also be part of something else that is wrong. I would really schedule an appointment with a doctor to at least be evaluated. Also, have you hit your head recently? The long sleep hours after falling asleep with a headache is very alarming to me.
Some main triggers for migraines are: Caffeine, chocolate (which also contains caffeine), red wine and other alcohol drinks, sugar, and certain foods that people may have sensitivities too such as peanuts and wheat gluten. I hope this helps!

Well: according to "Other -Health " it is known that
Headaches can be caused by pinched Nerve or just
a Sinus Infection
