Do some people who are deaf have no concept at all about sound?!

Question: I was thinking that if I never heard a sound, I would not understand the concept of hearing.

I guess that most people who are deaf do hear some sounds.

Just curious. Thanks.

if a person has been deaf all of their life they usually have no concept of sound because they cannot hear. they can only feel the vibrations of music so loud music with lots of base is what they would listen to, if they did "listen" to music.

They have strong sense.

A person who is completely deaf can definitely understand sound! They understand through vibrations. You can learn and understand a lot if you plug your ears and just feel the vibrations!

I am Hard of Hearing and I don't understand the concept of Rappers or BoomBox speakers when they vibrate. Some deaf people can read music notes. No different than if someone didn't like country music compare to gospel music when they have the same concept or words.
