Experience with "Lexapro" anti-depressant?!

Question: My doctor started me on 10 mg of lexapro, i am concerned about weight gain....Please if anyone has been on this medication or know anything about it i would really appreciate it before i start taking it........thank you

I've been on lexapro for 5 months and have not experienced weight gain. It works well for me, and I'd never consider switching. I have noticed that my mouth gets a little drier, so I have to drink more water throughout the day

Actually the opposite happened with my friend. She was on Lexapro and she had NO appetite and she actually lost weight. This was scary because she had a history of eating disorders, so her doctor took her off it.
