First off, YOU ARE NOT A FREAK! Keep thinking and talking that way and those around you will treat you that way!!!

Respect yourself and other's will respect you. Disrespect yourself and others will too......that simple.

You didn't mention what your problem is, nor have you mentioned your age, but I'll tell you what: There is no such thing as you cannot afford to get it fixed and I don't understand the 3 years part.

You never did ask a question here but I'll give you some advice anyway.

You have nothing to lose and everything to gain by getting it fixed....it doesn't matter what it costs!!!!

If you cannot find a job that offers insurance, see if you can get on welfare with the medicaid card.

If you cannot do that....say you have a minimum wage job or just above with no insurance. Too much money for medicaid.

Get it done......Whatever it costs. You may only be able to pay $10/month on your bill for the rest of your life, so to speak. But no one can bother you as you plug away and never miss a month.

If your bills total more than $10,000 you can declare bankruptcy (but not before it is all done!) Before you do that, make sure you have one charge card to your name if possible. Just charge minimally on it and pay it off each month. Keep it clean. Make sure you have a car that you can afford the monthly payments.

They cannot take your one car. They cannot take your house if you own one. But you can declare all your bills except the one charge card, because you will not owe anything on it. You will not be able to buy much of anything for about 5 years without paying through the nose in interest, or pay cash, but you will get all kinds of offers for charge cards "to re-establish your credit", try not to give in and get any. The interest will kill you unless you pay off each month.

Keep working hard....make your car payments, rent, charge card payments, etc very timely......that 's good credit.

By the time you are ready to be a first time buyer on a home you will have no trouble doing so.

Hey, I've been there and done that. It is a way to start over. It isn't hard. At least not for me because we paid cash for most stuff anyway. We even bought a car....paid too much interest, but re-established credit by doing so. Our bankruptcy stayed with our credit report for 7 years. That's all. And no suffering.

Think about it. You need to get yourself taken care of. Life is too short to suffer like you are.

Oh, by the way. People in general are either stupid or curious and you are taking their curiosity the wrong way.

The ones who snigger don't pay your rent or put food on your table. What do you care what they think anyway????I'm sure you don't live your life to please THEM, do you?? Don't take them seriously.

Good luck, and God bless you. I wish I could know when you make up your mind to do this. You will be so happy!!!

I am an RN

what is it? Is it your teeth or what?

think you answered for me

Try to find a charity that will help you pay for the surgery.

You're not a freak, EVERYONE has some deformaty or another be it physical, mental or emotional. You are just unfortunate that your's is visable. You need to build you self esteem, i know it's easy to say but if you can get to the point where it doesn't bother you then what other people think wont bother you either. If it does then give them the finger, they are not worth it!

Just think of it as you having an early warning system for gits.
Those people are not worth knowing and they are probably like to everyone they meet at varying stages....

You are nNOT a freak!!! In a way, you may be more fortunate than most in finding truely genuine friends. People who judge you by your face, are not the kind of people you want as friends. They will not stand by you and be genuine friends. The people who look at you and see YOU not your face, are your true friends. Remember, most people, even the physically beautiful, do not have many TRUE friends. True friends are not the ones that just hang around you, they are the ones willing to go the distance with you. Don't call yourself a freak anymore. Take the few people you consider to be your friends and cherise these few. If that number grows, then so be it, but if it never does, count yourself lucky to have ones you have and be secure they are with you because they like you as an individual, not the way you look.

You have to remember that this world is full of judgemental people and we all judge each other whether unintentionally or intentionally. Just ignore them, you can be called a freak a million times and have so many stares but you will still be normal person no matter what. All you have to do is ignore them..... only the people you know won't stare because you have a deformity but, because they need to xxxx

People are really quite rude and insensitive and even horrible.

I hope you can get it fixed, whatever it is, oneday.

i guess it would be hard to ignore it but is really all u can do. people are soo narrow minded and you just have to think that if u dont slag people off for how they look then u are a much better person.

If you looked perfectly normal and you met somebody with a deformity, would you stare too? It's human nature, unfortunately. Most people would not snigger and those that do are the real freaks.
Whatever your condition is, almost everything can be fixed or bettered now days. Just bear with it for a while longer.

your just ugly cause god hates you

Nineteen months ago I got Bell's Palsy, badly. My daughter asked if I thought I should go out in public. My answer was that if people didn't like the look of my face, that was their problem, and not mine. Yes, you get the staring and the comments. Develop your sense of self-worth, and ignore them.
