she sounds like she is addicted to them, unles of course they have been prescribed to her for a serious medical condition, if she is taking them every night. and if so it sounds serious. she should be careful. this is a major concern i feel as i have heard with drugs taken to help one sleep it could cause death so please if possible, try to get her to understand taking sleeping pills every day can lead to addiction and in some cases she may not be able to fall asleep normally like most people do but end up relying on those pills to get her to sleep. good luck.
