Eat more protein, such as eggs or cheese. Some carbs would also help you out. Otherwise, you can try out some energy pills.

talk to your DOCTOR

i agree with ur other suggestions, see a doctor...

Be active during the day, to wear yourself out at night when it comes time to sleep.

tylonal pm unless you had coffee and you'll pee your pants

It might be insomnia. Talk to your doctor, as the person above said. Tell them the same symptoms you are telling us, but more detailed because your question is somewhat confusing.

I know this might sound a bit cheesy but maybe listening to relaxing music. Maybe burning so candles or oils.
I find it easy when i read a boring book. It makes me really tired.
Hopefully this helps. Good Luck

Go to bed earlier if you can. Um...Maybe in might consider in investing in better mattresses, pillows and blankets. I had the same problem. I got blankets that were super plushy and soft pillows and a firm/soft mattress. Try a sleeping mask too.

I couldn't get to sleep because it wasn't comfortable and dress warmly.

Check with your doctor too...

go to a supplement store and buy melatonin. it will get your body back on its natural sleep cycle. take it a half an hour before you want to go to bed and lay in your bed and try to sleep right after you take it. Continue doing this until you start a better sleep pattern

Ok the reason why you are having troubles sleeping could be the fact that you don't have a good sleep hygiene. Your body cannot be forced to go to sleep, but you have to establish a routine so you will naturally fall to sleep. For example, if you have a schedule like this... at 9:00 listen to my Ipod 9:30 watch Tv 9:45 brush your teeth then 10:00 go lie in bed. As a result, if you follow a certain routine everytime, your body should adjust and start telling itself to go to sleep. Hopefully that helps.

see a doctor and get meds

How old are you? Are you under a great deal of stress at home or work? Any relationship problems with a spouse or partner? Do you have money problems or any other troubles causing stress?

3:00 p.m. is not "late at night", it is the middle of the afternoon. You probably mean early in the morning, like 3:00 a.m., right?

How much sleep are you getting? Are you getting exercise most days that raises your heart beat a little? Are you exercising too late in the evening? Are you not getting enough sex? (I have an extremely difficult time sleeping if it has been a while.)

If you drink coffee or other caffienated beverages (including energy drinks such as Red Bull and Rockstar), when is your last drink? I can't have any eight hours before bed time.

There are many factors that can affect you. If these questions are not helpful in narrowing down a potential problem, I urge you to see a doctor. An over-the-counter sleep aid will probably be a big help.

uh, do you mean 3am? you confused me. anyways, try using pills. they worked wonders for my friend.........
