ya I thin' you should care urself first ..

You should possibly call the emergancy services if shes does it again, it isn't normal and could be a serious problem.

More information, please?

How old are you and how old is your mum?

Is this the only family you have, or is there a dad, siblings??

If she's a bit older, and you are an adult now, sounds like she may be getting alzheimers?? Maybe she is having a nervous breakdown?? I wouldnt call someone to "lock her up" just yet, but definitely take her to your GP to get her checked out properly. Does she ever leave the house? Maybe something is really wrong with her, don't wait, go see the doctor!

Maybe she is just really concerned about YOU, I mean, she loves you right, she's your mother. Just how unhealthy are you? Maybe in the meantime you can start working on improving your health, at least that may calm her down and stop her worrying about you. Do you do any exercise or go to the gym? At least start walking and change your eating habits to something a bit healthier. Are you overweight??

Maybe you should BOTH go see the doctor and go sort it all out.... i really hope you do x x x :o(
