I've been exposed to the stomach flu. What can I do?!

Question: Last night I was with my girlfriend. Everything was fine. She made chicken noodle soup since I'm just getting over a cold. After that we head out to the mall and she started feeling ill. Eventually we stopped at a gas station and she opened the door and threw up. It came out of no where, all of a sudden she was just feeling horrible. So we went home and I took care of her for a while and watched some TV for a while. I knew I shouldn't be around her since she was contagious but i felt bad and stuck around. She told before that the whole rest of her family had gotten it after new years, and they were all throwing up and now she was the last one to get it. I havent visited her since, but that nite before she threw up, we had already kissed, nothing to graphic though, and we had eaten together and held hands. Is there any hope for me? or am I doomed to be throwing up all night as she was? I'm hoping since I'm recovering from a cold, that my immune system might be boosted....if that helps.

THIS IS A STOMACHE VIRUS GOING AROUND.
EAT AN APPLE. CUT THE APPLE INTO QUARTERS AND CUT THE QUARTERS INTO QUARTERS AND EAT A SECTION AT A TIME. EVERY HOUR OR SO.
AN APPLE HAS FIBERS AND WILL CLEAN SYSTEM AND FIBERS BUILD UP TO STOP DIARRHEA. SHOULD LAST ABOUT 3 DAYS AS I HAVE SEEN MOST PPL GOING THROUGH IT.

Throw up your hands. Or two words of that, anyways.

get a lot of rest
like dnt get out of bed
if u eat make it fruit
and try 2 drink a lot of 7 up

Maybe try airborn? I don't know that there's much you can do once you've already been exposed....vitamin C and lots of fluids maybe too

Eat healthy, drink a lot of fluids, namely Orange juice and cranberry juice. exercise.
If you get sick still then your imune system is not that great. When you aren't sick do the above mentioned to avoid being sick again. A healthy and clean system is hard to knock down.

Worrying about it isn't going to change anything, so if you get it, you get it. Drink lots of fluids, and stay warm. I'm sure she'll take good care of you if you do get sick.

Flu germs are passed through the air, and you could get it by passing someone in the grocery store who had it, or using a shopping cart that someone used who was sick. It's not her fault, so just try to take good care of yourself, and if you get it, deal with it. You'll feel like crap but probably not for more than a day or two.

Good luck!

Aw, dude, I went to IHOP and my freaking omelet was covered with stomach flu germs. I know this because I haven't eaten anything since Friday morning. All I'm doing right now is drinking Peptobismol and resting. Good Luck man.

If your immune system is good you may not get it. You can start taking care of your self ahead of time. Drink lots of of
hot tea, take vitamin c and eat to strenghten yourself. Exercise and build up your strength so that it will be a weaker
flu if you do get it. I hope that you don't get it.

You will get over it.
