How accurate is the left wristbone x ray on height?!

They did this to me when I was about 12 and they were accurate that I was still going to grow until I was up to age 18. I stopped growing towards that age and most of the growth spurt happened when I was 16 thanks to exercise.
They also did it to my sister and they were also right with her that she'd stop growing at age 16 and their approximate height was accerted as well. I ended up being taller than her too.
