I try to understand but i don't, Why exactly do people cut?!
Question: It is the most torturing way to kill yourself! I mean, Do people do it because they want to feel closer to death? do they like the rush it gives them!? How can it release pain when it is must be extremely painful!?

From what I understand from movies I have seen that have it in it (Secretary, 28 Days, etc.) to the cutter, it actually does not hurt as much as the pain they are feeling; it's like a release to them; it makes them feel better. And possibly the body's "rush" of being injured, what chemicals are released from the brain, may also have something to do with it. But I don't know anyone who has done it so this is JMO on what I have seen or read about it.
cutting causes pain which causes endorphins( morphine like chemicals) to be released which eases the pain
