Quitting advice?!

Question: I had quit smoking, but this week, I began smoking again and am going to quit again tomorrow. Any advice? I assume it will be just like quitting all over (again) dammit.

Remember that quitting means you dont do something anymore. If you started smoking again then you didnt quit, you just stopped for a bit. When you truly quit you will never smoke ever again. Thats the mindset you need mate.

Quitting smoking is a hard thing to do, I live in a... well, family of smokers basically. They haven't tried to quit smoking, obviously b/c they've been doing it for so long they just can't. But, I would probably recommend seeing a doctor and seeing what type of things you could do to quit? I know that my grandpa chews gum to not smoke a bunch of cigarettes every day. It seems to help. You maybe want to find something else that makes you feel good other than smoking, like... well whatever you would like to do! Painting or sculpting, something hands on is usually good, it distracts you from it. I probably sound like a cop or something, but smoking= bad idea =D so try and quit ASAP!

well i never smoked (or quit).
but, i do have fits when my hormones get out of balance and what helps the most is tryptophan - a nutritional supplement. walmart usually carries a version by natrol called 5-HTP. it just naturally takes the edge off everything for me, soothes the savage beast.
by the way, my dad finally quit last year and he's 78, feels 100% better. so keep quitting - i'm rooting for ya
