Don't know why, But I do know that's it's impossible to sneeze with your eyes open. I've heard that your eyes would come out of their sockets, but I don't know how true that is!
I just googled it and it says that nobody knows for sure, but scientists theorize that we close our eyes to protect them form microorganisms and other particles. OK, I guess. LOL :)
Because it is literally impossible to sneeze with your eyes open. Just the way the body operates.

Because when you sneeze, you put alot of strain on your ocular(eye) muscles. If we sneezed with our eyes open, eventually our eyes would literally pop out!
BECAUSE IF YOU DON'T, YOUR EYES WILL POP OUT OF YOUR HEAD
