We don't like to be called "old people." We prefer to be called "soon dead people."
And we don't smell funny. It isn't funny at all. We prefer it refered to as, "the smell of the ages."
And the good news is that you will be one of us before you know it, and with your lousy diet, you will smell even worse! Hah!

They do not wash enough
Good question. I have always wondered this myself!
it can be harder to take care of yourself when you're old. be careful what you say you'll be old one day too
i have no idea but they have head lice coz they cant feel much on their head so stay away from old peoples heads
that is because old people kinda suck...
they surround themselves with cats, poop their pants, and things do seem to mildew down in florida!
i work in an old peoples home, i don't even notice the smell, they're just like you and me only a lot older, we'll all be like that someday, unless they legalise euthanasia, i'm all for it.
They don't bathe as often. Many times it is because it is a lot of work to get in and out of the shower and there is a fear of falling.
it may be a chemical issue. As the body sweats and the body ages some of our chemical change causing all kinds of different results. Also I do not believe they shower or bath as often being afraid of falling etc.
That makes me madder than a hornet! Not your question, just age . It's because they sometimes can't hold their bladders. That's what my Mom said. And people, did you know, things you think are gross about a person like ,"Oh I sure hope I don't get that !" will happen to you for sure? If you think bad of an elder person,that thought will come true on you! And it's not that far away, you will be that old tomorrow!

I've often wondered since the doc told me my ovaries are dead - yet there they sit right inside my body - no embalming fluids, nothing. Shouldn't they rot, stink and fall out?
Maybe the need help to keep them selves clean, maybe instead of asking yourself and other people this question, ask yourself if they need any help
i think when people get old...the need to be attractive is gone out the window! they suffer from aches and pains and are no longet flexable to reach those spots that need a good scrub up. so the may bath less...i dont knw!

well, hmm....I think you'll find out eventually, when everyone avoids you..or do they already? How inconsiderate, assinine can you be, I've met elders in their late 90's that had more manners..and often elders smell much better than the kids these days...that smell...remember, a rat smells his own hole first!!! WEG
