What kind of drugs do hospitals test for and how long does 30mg of valium stay i!

Question: Liberty: "D. J. Greenblatt and colleagues reported in 1978 on two patients who had taken 500 and 2000 mg of diazepam, respectively, went into moderately deep comas." (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Diazepam#_n... )

Diazepam (valium) usually comes in 10mg tablets. The maximum dose is typically 10mg four times a day. According to Erowid (http://www.erowid.org/pharms/diazepam/di... ), a single use stays in your blood for 7 to 10 days. It's not part of the NIDA5 standard drug test, but of course it can easily be detected in an extended drug test.

I don't know how long valium stays in your system, but hospitals can test for any type of drug that is out there. The doctor has to order the test, and he usually orders it based on what he suspects.

If you want to find out if it is out of your system go to a Walgreens and purchase a drug test - they cost about $15

I've answered this question before and I will answer it again. ONE MORE TIME. Come on people, educate yourself. Educating yourself doesn't mean asking people on Yahoo for the answers. Read a book.

It depends on what you were in the hospital for. 30mg is almost a joke. You would have to take one pill at 500mg for it to show up.

stays in system a long time, all drugs are tested for.
