What type of nursing is for me?!

Question: I want to be a nurse because I want to help people. I'm definitly a people-person and I love to get to know and interact with people from all walks of life. What kind of nurse gets to interact with the same patients for awhile but still works in a hospital setting?

Each area of nursing has its pros and cons. First think about getting your schooling and certification done. As you start with clinical rotations you will probably change your mind a dozen times before you find what area of nursing is in your heart. It will all come together.

try a school nurse....
oh, hospital...i dont know
sorry

labor and delivery or oncology...also long term but thats boring

It doesn't matter, you will be stuck in ER anyway.

Hospice or renal nursing. Wound care is long term, so is cancer care and any type of rehabilitation.

um maybe u would like to work with cancer patients, u might will be able to give them the courage to live another day

I would suggest becoming an Registered Nurse. I have been one for 7 years. I went to a 4 year program and got my BSN. While you are in school you will rotate through all the different kinds of nursing, from Medical/Surgical, to Labor and Delivery.
