I asked how long it takes blood to coagulate?!
Question: i saw it on yahoo answers and it said 15 minutes. I thought it took a long time when i cut myself to stop but it stopped within 5 min - I thought that was a long time... so what is it? is 15 minutes really how long it takes for most people?

actually everyones blood is different. some peoples blood clots really fast, and some does not clot at all....ever....they just keep bleeding....
for example, when i get a bloody nose, or get a decent cut while chopping veggetables or something, it takes at least 5 or 6 minutes before it stops gushing....
on the other hand, i have had a blody nose that lasted like 20 minutes and would not stop......
it all depends on what your diet is too....different foods have effects, like if you eat a lot of red meat (iron) it helps your blood a lot too.
