Good ways to resist getting clogged, please?!

Question: I get clogged quite easily, and I hate it. I end up taking laxatives, which cause some gut problems for me. Will eating a lot less dairy, and meat help. For example, 2 glasses of milk, per day, and resisting cheese, and only 1 helping of meat, at dinner. Thanks.

You need to be eating more fibre to regulate your digestive system. So eating things like breads, pastas and rice will increase your fibre intake. You should also eat a lot more fruit like pears and watermelon, which have a high water intake. Drink more water throughout the day. Whatever you do, dont cut down on the amount of dairy that you are consuming. Dairy is essential to your health providing you with needed calcium and other vitamins. Also, by cutting down your dairy or cutting it out, you'll put yourself at risk of diseases such as osteoporosis, which is a bone degeneration disease causing the bones to go brittle and break easy. If you are really struggling to eat more fruit and pastas ect you can get fibre capsules (fibre that you take in a pill form) or there is a natural fibre that you can sprinkle on your food and then mix it in. Try not to take laxatives if you can help it, obviously because they are upsetting your stomach.

take fiber pills, it makes you more regular. also, increase your fruit and vegetable intake, or drink fruit juices.

Yes, that would help. You should also increase the amount of water that you are drinking and eat more food with high fiber content (e.g. oats)

Use Ovaltine, Metamucil, Milk of Magnesia, things like these, I recommend metamucil for keeping regular

I purchase on ebay a Colon Cleanser...drink more water and less milk..watch intake of pizza, cheese, all breads...eat more fruits and vegggies..

I think it would be a good idea for you to try excluding dairy to see if your symptoms improve (just remember to take a multivitamin for calcium). Exclusion dieting is one way to help determine if a food is causing your problem. Consult your doctor and let him or her know if you plan to do this and what the results are.

Miralax. It's the best thing to my constipated system in years. NO SIDE EFFECTS. No sudden urges, no cramping, no anything. Just add it to a glass of beverage, or sprinkle it in with any food. It's undetectable, untasteable, and it works great.

I have several suggestions for you to try. First, purchase a fiber supplement pill available at any drugstore and take it daily. Second, be sure you are drinking plenty of water, which will help a great deal. Third, eat plenty of foods that contain fiber, such as salads, whole grain breads, apples. Last but not least, don't wait if you have to go. The longer you wait, the more water is absorbed out of your intestinal tract, making it more difficult to go. Stay away from laxatives because regular use of them will only set up a cycle in which you won't be able to go without them. If none of these solve the problem, try a softner pill such as docusate sodium that you can take daily. While cheese is binding, if you do these things I have suggested you should be able to continue to enjoy cheese without restriction. Good luck to you!

Fiber one bars 35% fiber daily value,

The pasteurized/homogenized milk you are drinking has many problems with it. First, the pasteurization doesn't kill ALL the germs. There are about 2% of them still in there, but don't worry, the high heat destroys the calcium and other nutrients so there's really no nutrition in there they can eat and multiply. The cows that provide this milk are fed grain and feed in commercial feed lots where they walk in their feces and contaminate their udders with e-coli and other human pathogens. The homogenization crushes all the butter fat cells and opens them up, letting "chards" of foreign amino acids free in the milk. When you drink this, these chards of altered amino acids are absorbed through your intestine walls and travel around your body in the blood stream creating histamines. These histamines cause allergies and your body to produce mucous. These allergies require that your immune system go to work and puts your body in an inflammatory state.

It's just not a pretty picture.

On the other hand, if you were to drink RAW MILK from cows that feed on grass and are free range, like most of the world does and the primitive people's throughout the world, like the Massai tribe in Africa, you would not get all the garbage and it would nourish your body instead of creating all those toxins.

RAW MILK, like you can get from Organic Pastures, are free of human pathogens and loaded with good bacteria and enzymes that help your body digest it. Go to: www.organicpastures.com read the FAQ's there.

The cheeses that the Kraft Food Company makes are "one day cheeses." They are made in one day and then shipped. These non aged cheeses contain about 80 - 90% lactose and your body can't digest this well at all. If you buy aged cheeses that have been aged at least 90 days, you will be able to digest those well because they only have about 10% lactose.

You need to make sure you are drinking lots of water as well. Take your total body weight and divide by 2. That number is the number of ounces you need each day.

The meat you are eating is probably not from grass fed cows, so it is highly inflammatory and loaded with omega 6 fatty acids. Very bad for you.

To fix your clog problem, go to: www.healthline.cc ( not .com) and order the following:

cleanse blend --- take 5 in the morning and 5 in the evening. You should do this for about 4 months. It will clean your colon of old debris. You will typically lose about 10 to 15 pounds of old fecal matter that is in your intestines now.

Probiotic --- take 1 in the a.m. and 1 in the p.m.

If you are over 20 years old, I would also start taking the Betaine HCL, Activator, and Quantum Digest.

After each meal take 2 HCL and 1 Activator
During the meal take 1 Digest.

This will fix the clog problem and you will very much like the results and you will not believe how much is in there.

To address the longer term, you need to do the basics as follows: 40% carbs (nutrient dense carbs); 30% fats; 30% proteins. Stay completely away from ALL VEGETABLE OILS, except for Olive Oil. That garbage is typically rancid when you buy it and when heated even slightly, it polymerizes into the TRANS FATTY ACID configuration.

Good luck
