I am currently on antibiotics, can I take ambien with them?!

Question: They are clindamycin

Answers: They are clindamycin

Yes, they are two different medications that treat two different problems. Take them at least 20 minutes apart in case of a reaction but I doubt you will have one unless you are allergic to one or the other. Clindamycin is a good antibiotic but ambien never worked to put me to sleep. I use Rozerem.

I would def. call the pharmacy to double check who knos its risky askin ppl on here who arent docs.

According to Medscape drug interaction checker, there are no interactions listed. Should be fine.

I'd check with the pharmacy AFTER calling my doctor's office first just to be double sure. As far as I can(or cannot find I should say)tell from the Internet, they do not tell of any possible side effects when used together. Ask your doctor first and then the pharmacy afterwords though just to be safe.
