Why smoke?!

Question: Why? When you know that you are exponentially increasing your chances for lung disease, lung cancer, mouth cancer, respiratory problems, and any other number of ailments do you still choose to smoke? I understand it is an addiction like any other, but for those that do not attempt to quit, why?

Everyone who smokes knows the risks. It has been pounded into our brains again and again. If you have never been addicted to anything you will never understand. It is an addiction and one that is extremely difficult to quit. The people that continue to smoke do so because it is easier for them to smoke than it is to stop. Just don't you ever start and you'll never have to worry about it.

Because its really really hard to quit and some people are weak so they dont even bother!

JUst don't start then you won't have to have a hard time quitting!!!!!

You can ask the drug addict why they smoke weed, or the alcoholic why they drink, or the sex addict why they want to screw all of the time, or even the person addicted to food what the hell are you eating that for? Addiction is a terrible thing to deal with, but some people chose to do what they want. You can have pics of lung tissue that looks like a charcoal briquette (I hope that's right) and people will want to puff. As long as you try to do right and live healthy, people are going to be people. Be well, darling!
