WHEN I WAS IN THIS SITUATION I TOOK THE DAMN THING IN WITH ME.

Ask the nurse for a stand on wheels

Yes, you take the enitre IV with you just wheel it in to the bathroom!!

Yeh i think you wheel the stand in with you from memory. I've seen people go outside hospitals for cigarettes with the stand along side them haha. Not a good look!

Ask the nurse first if it's possible for you to remove it. It would be easier. I had to take the whole thing with me to the bathroom when I was in the hospital.

When I was in hospital, I took the stand with me --- it had wheels.

You take the whole thing with you.

Well, most infusion need to be continuous so, therefore, you will need to take the drip stand with you...and yes it has wheels. You will soon get used to manouvering around with it.

yep all right! - use the stand with wheels and watch the lines! I fell over them once!

your not allowed to unhook it unless you have a nurse with you. you generally take the whole thing on wheels with you

it actually depends on the nurse who does it..but it doesnt matter which way you do it..if the ivstand has wheels. As soon as they take out your iv, they have to sanatize the stand.

Ask the nurse just depends on what is running in the drip if its a antibiotic or some medication u'll have to take it in if not u'll probably get unhooked.
